About Us
ROCK of REFUGE (ROR) began as a way to bring the message of HOPE and RESTORATION to those seeking answers to the day-to-day storms and challenges that life throws us.
ROR was founded with the intent to address the mental, emotional, medical, and spiritual needs of our community. The ROR team is committed to being the ROCK and place of REFUGE that our community can depend on when life throws an unexpected challenge.
Our counselors provide services in North and South Carolina.
OUR FOCUS:
As a professional counseling and training center, we are committed to serving our communities in North and South Carolina by meeting the needs of individuals, families, and organizations. Our professional counselors and staff specialize in the care and support of law enforcement, first responders, active military, veterans, and their loved ones.
The ROR professional team believes that good mental, psychological and spiritual health is just as essential as good physical health. This is true for all of us, but especially for our law enforcement and first responder community. The daily realities of these jobs can affect the health and wellness of each, as they face a constant need to be vigilant, long hours, shift work, exposure to the daily tragedies of life, and regular interaction with people who are in crisis or hostile towards them. The health, safety, and overall well-being of these brave men, women, and their families is the priority of ROR and staff.
It is our honor and privilege to support those who protect us and to come alongside each person we support, as they navigate the uncertainty and pain that often comes as a result of our individual lived experiences.
